Sugar-Free = Migraine-Free

I purposely have not posted a blog for the past two months as I went through yet another dietary change. If you’ve read in my past blogs, I was keto since July 2014 and a little over two months ago I decided to try going vegetarian. Basically without getting into it too much, I was having digestion problems for quite a while and I understood that I needed to change things up.

So, here I am exactly 10 weeks later and my digestion has completely healed, I’m feeling 1,000% better and I am still without migraines!  Having gone from keto to vegetarian, I’ve concluded that my main enemy is sugar.  About 90% of my carbohydrate intake comes from high fibrous vegetables.  And I’m still only using stevia to sweeten my coffee or plain yogurt and still having no signs of any type of migraines at all! Hallelujah! Lol I was so afraid to quit keto, but wow I finally know now it’s been sugar that was killing me slowly.

Even though I’m on hiatus from the ketogenic way of eating, I’m still a HUGE advocate for it and all of it’s health benefits. BUT, as I’ve mentioned a thousand times, we are all humans!  However, our genetics are so different one from another, so what may work for me, may not work for you.  And what may work for you, may not work for me!

Self experimentation is key to discovering each of our individual health improvements!
